Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for project controls functions, including planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain a Master Schedule that integrates multiple packages and accounts for interdependencies.
• Evaluate and verify planning and scheduling information to identify potential delays and suggest robust recovery plans.
• Perform "What if" analysis to assess the time impact of changes, variations, and potential events.
• Evaluate claims, including Extension of Time (EoT) and Disruption claims, using recognized delay analysis techniques.
• Lead structured risk workshops with client and contractor teams to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Champion the adoption of automation and digitalization within the project controls function to improve reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project controls, specifically on large-scale infrastructure or metro rail projects.
• At least 3 years of professional experience working in the UAE.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk Analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other risk management software.
