Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for project controls functions, including planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain a Master Schedule integrating multiple packages and interdependencies.
• Evaluate and verify planning and scheduling information to identify potential delays and suggest mitigation measures.
• Perform "What if" analysis to assess the time impact of changes, variations, and potential events.
• Evaluate claims, including Extension of Time (EoT) and Disruption claims, using recognized delay analysis techniques.
• Lead structured risk workshops and manage the Project Risk Register.
• Manage and mentor a team of planning engineers, providing technical and leadership guidance.
• Champion the adoption of automation and digitalization within the project controls function.
• Prepare regular progress reports, program analysis, and presentations for management and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• At least 3 years of professional experience within the UAE.
• Proven experience working on high-end hotels, iconic buildings, or large-scale malls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for interfacing with diverse professional groups.
• Thorough knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
