Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for project controls teams supporting complex capital and infrastructure projects
• Lead the development and implementation of project controls plans, tools, and processes
• Manage the preparation, updating, and analysis of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
• Oversee cost control processes including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Direct risk management activities, ensuring proactive identification, mitigation, and tracking of project risks
• Lead earned value management (EVM) implementation and reporting
• Manage change control processes to track changes to cost, scope, and schedule
• Mentor, train, and supervise project controls consultants and analysts
• Serve as the primary client contact for all project controls matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of total project experience
• At least 5 years in a project controls management role
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel
• Proven experience managing project controls for large-scale infrastructure, energy, or capital projects
• Extensive knowledge of earned value management and performance measurement techniques
• Strong command of project management methodologies and risk frameworks
• Ability to work in a consulting environment and manage client relationships
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to Toronto
