Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Project Controls activities to ensure works are within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Establish and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules and monitor progress for both direct works and subcontractors.
• Manage project scope in cooperation with Project, Operations Controls, and Contract Managers.
• Implement and supervise cost control systems, invoicing procedures, and data collection for planning and reporting.
• Identify problem areas, assess risks, and propose mitigation plans or corrective actions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Employer and Engineer representatives.
• Lead and develop the project controls team, ensuring effective responsibility assignment and conflict prevention.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of management experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in EPC projects exceeding US$ 100M.
• Essential experience working with ADNOC or equivalent entities across all project phases (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, planning, risk management, and contractual procedures.
• Fluency in English and proficiency with project management tools.
• Ability to perform effectively under stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous employment with leading international EPC contractors.
• Broad awareness of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning processes.
• Solid understanding of basic financial concepts.
