Project Controls Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for progress measurement and earned value analysis across large industrial projects
• Perform detailed forensic reviews of Primavera P6 schedules, including logic ties, resource loading, and critical path validation
• Extract, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple contractor systems using SQL, Power Query, and advanced Excel
• Develop and maintain robust progress measurement frameworks and "Rules of Credit" to support accurate earned value reporting
• Align field execution data with the project Work Breakdown Structure and control accounts to ensure consistent, auditable reporting
• Conduct schedule and progress audits to identify discrepancies, trends, and risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare data-driven progress and EVM reports and dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders
• Support integration between cost, schedule, and risk data to improve forecasting and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Data Science/Analytics, or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project scheduling and progress measurement
• At least 5 years of experience supporting industrial mega-projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, including schedule logic forensics and critical path analysis
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation tools such as SQL, Power Query, and advanced Excel
• Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and physical progress "Rules of Credit"
• Proven experience developing and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing or supporting integrated project controls systems on large industrial or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboards for schedule and progress reporting
• PMI or related professional certifications in project management or scheduling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
