Project Controls Engineer - Planning

Responsibilities

• Establish processes, templates, and tools to manage cost and schedule baselines for large-scale projects.
• Identify trends and root causes of deviations against the baseline using lead and lag indicators.
• Lead the evaluation of project time, cost, and quality targets while applying governance controls.
• Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile master schedules.
• Manage change management processes, providing a platform for tracking and monitoring project changes.
• Participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating risks into Monte Carlo simulations for quantitative impact analysis.
• Hold vendors accountable for required schedule updates and reporting to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Create executive-level dashboards and cost reports to summarize project financials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project controls coordination across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Specialist experience within the Life Sciences, Pharma, or Data Centre sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Advanced skills in MS Office.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management and reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote, multidisciplinary team.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict project deadlines.
