Project Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Draft project-specific Project Controls Procedures in accordance with contract requirements
• Prepare internal and external project reports in required formats
• Coordinate and maintain lists of deliverables, including engineering, procurement, and material submittals
• Develop procurement packages including quantity take-offs, technical requirements, and delivery schedules
• Maintain procurement and subcontractor registers
• Assist in drafting subcontract agreements, negotiating prices, and managing subcontract administration
• Monitor contract scope of work and manage variations and claims registers
• Collect and group contemporary records necessary for the assessment of variations and claims
• Collaborate with quantity surveyors to prepare and submit monthly payment requests
• Assist in budget preparation, current estimates, and monitoring cost variances

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering
• 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Essential experience in EPC projects with ADNOC or an equivalent organization
• Strong skills in cost estimation, cost control, planning, and risk management
• Proficiency with project management tools and knowledge of basic financial concepts
• Fluency in the English language
• Ability to perform effectively under stressful situations

• Awareness of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
