Project Controls Consultant (Planning/Risk)

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including P50/P90 scenario modeling
• Facilitate risk sessions and stakeholder workshops
• Prepare periodic reports on progress, planning, risks, KPIs, and performance
• Implement governance structures around planning and controls
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and internationally

Requirements

• HBO or WO degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or Econometrics
• 3–6 years of experience in project controls, planning, or risk management
• Proven experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Experience with risk tools such as Safran Risk, @Risk, or Primavera Risk Analysis
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Analytical mindset with ability to perform probabilistic forecasting
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, energy, construction, or capital-intensive industrial environments
• Knowledge of Power BI for dashboarding
• Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI/PMBOK, or IPMA
• Specialized certifications like PMI-SP, AACE, or MoR
