Project Controls Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support project accounting and finance functions including cost control, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
• Master systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees
• Maintain purchasing workflow internal controls and troubleshoot vendor or payment issues
• Manage intercompany and client billing documentation to ensure accurate cash management
• Review costs, budget structures, and exception reports to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Identify and adjust forecast and budget issues within cost reports to confirm proper revenue recognition
• Collaborate with Operations teams to adapt to evolving project needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent degree
• 0-2 years of experience in financial or data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups), Word, and Outlook
• Ability to relocate and travel up to 50% as required by project needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in a professional business or finance setting
• Demonstrated ability to recognize discrepancies and maintain high attention to detail
