About the role
Responsibilities
- Support project accounting and finance functions including cost control, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
- Master systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees
- Maintain purchasing workflow internal controls and troubleshoot vendor or payment issues
- Manage intercompany and client billing documentation to ensure accurate cash management
- Review costs, budget structures, and exception reports to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify and adjust forecast and budget issues within cost reports to confirm proper revenue recognition
- Collaborate with Operations teams to adapt to evolving project needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent degree
- 0-2 years of experience in financial or data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups), Word, and Outlook
- Ability to relocate and travel up to 50% as required by project needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in a professional business or finance setting
- Demonstrated ability to recognize discrepancies and maintain high attention to detail
