Project Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage financial control and economic management of DI's international grant projects
• Handle the entire project lifecycle from preparing application budgets to final reporting and accounting
• Register, set up, and maintain projects and budgets in D365 FO
• Perform resource budgeting and allocation
• Conduct budget meetings and follow-ups
• Advise and spar with project managers, participants, and other stakeholders
• Perform financial oversight of international project partners in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America
• Report to project managers and donors, collaborating with external auditors on project accounts
• Train project managers and participants in time registration systems and PowerBI reports
• Prepare budget estimates and forward-looking financial analyses

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally from NGOs, educational institutions, or business houses
• Experience with international grant projects is a significant advantage
• Strong IT flair and interest in digitalization and new technology
• Experience using Copilot and AI tools for efficiency and quality
• Proficiency in D365 FO and Excel
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage complex data
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
