About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement project controls direction through systems for cost control, planning, reporting, and schedule development
- Manage project cost and schedule throughout the entire project life cycle
- Lead cost and schedule estimates for various Gate reviews and participate in the preparation of Gate packages
- Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information
- Administer the project change control process and communicate the implications of changes
- Monitor and appraise contractor performance in areas of cost control and progress measurement
- Develop project cost forecasts and accurately forecast project cost and schedule
- Mentor junior project controls engineers to ensure technical quality and timeliness of work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EPC or Project Management within the Oil and Gas industry
- Minimum 3 years of project controls experience focused on cost control, estimating, planning, and schedule control
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong presentation skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and flexibility to travel internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Brownfield oil and gas environment
- Experience with offshore projects
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6
