Project Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement project controls direction through systems for cost control, planning, reporting, and schedule development
• Manage project cost and schedule throughout the entire project life cycle
• Lead cost and schedule estimates for various Gate reviews and participate in the preparation of Gate packages
• Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information
• Administer the project change control process and communicate the implications of changes
• Monitor and appraise contractor performance in areas of cost control and progress measurement
• Develop project cost forecasts and accurately forecast project cost and schedule
• Mentor junior project controls engineers to ensure technical quality and timeliness of work

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in EPC or Project Management within the Oil and Gas industry
• Minimum 3 years of project controls experience focused on cost control, estimating, planning, and schedule control
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong presentation skills
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and flexibility to travel internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Brownfield oil and gas environment
• Experience with offshore projects
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6
