Project Contracts Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of contracting strategies aligned with project objectives and market conditions.
• Manage the full contracting lifecycle for major EPC packages, from strategy creation through contract close-out.
• Lead contractor screening, qualification activities, and the preparation of contract documents.
• Direct commercial bid evaluations and lead contract negotiations, including coordinating decisions with leadership.
• Oversee contract administration, including change control processes, amendments, and change orders.
• Lead the evaluation and negotiation of contractor claims and potential counterclaims.
• Manage subcontracting activities to ensure proper flow-down of EPC terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in contracting strategy development and execution.
• Expertise in contractor qualification and screening processes.
• Strong skills in commercial bid evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Extensive experience in contract administration and managing complex EPC packages.
• Proficiency in claims management and dispute resolution.
• Ability to manage higher-complexity contracts and serve as a primary representative on a Project Team.
