Project Consultant - Forensics

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end financial crime investigations, including data analysis, transaction tracing, and forensic review of financial records
• Perform AML/CFT assessments, including customer risk rating, transaction monitoring reviews, and sanctions screening effectiveness
• Utilize large datasets and analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI to identify anomalies, trends, and suspicious patterns
• Conduct process walkthroughs and control testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Prepare client-ready reports and presentations featuring observations, root cause analysis, and practical recommendations
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements including FATF, RBI, FCPA, and IKBA to incorporate them into client engagements
• Manage engagement budgets and support the development of business proposals and new methodologies

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Analysis
• Professional experience within the Banking sector or a Big 4 firm
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with analytics tools
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FATF, RBI, FCPA, and IKBA
