Project Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations on the construction site to ensure safety, schedule, quality, and budgetary requirements are met
• Ensure all personnel and external contractors comply with company, local, and federal safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage construction activities to authorized budgets and change orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for construction contractors, providing direction on priorities and coordination
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues impacting safety, quality, or timelines
• Lead constructability reviews and work with engineering teams to optimize designs for field productivity
• Support RFI processes, change order approvals, and comprehensive record-keeping
• Facilitate construction standups and report project status to senior management

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project or construction management
• Strong focus on industrial/process industry ground-up construction
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Construction Management preferred
• Expertise in project planning, risk management, contract management, and project execution
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hardhats and steel-toe shoes

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience with the full project lifecycle
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) covered processes
