Project Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and instrumental laboratory analyses for water and wastewater treatment
• Conduct physical and chemical analyses using colorimetric, titrations, and gravimetric methods
• Operate and maintain ICP and ICP/MS instrumentation
• Utilize analytical tools including UV/VIS, TOC, GC, GC/MS, IC, Lachat Flow Analyzer, and AFS
• Provide analytical support for sales, marketing, and R&D teams
• Maintain laboratory operations in accordance with QA/QC and chemical hygiene plans
• Assist in the preparation and writing of technical papers and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or environmental science
• 5+ years of experience in a process chemistry or environmental laboratory setting
• Technical knowledge of applicable instrumentation and Standard EPA methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google platform tools
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
