Project Buyer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all purchasing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and supplier selection to final project closure.
• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to achieve optimal quality, cost, and delivery conditions.
• Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including bid-list selection, risk assessment, and coordinating supplier design and development activities.
• Execute the complete RFQ process using negotiation and auction tactics to secure the best possible terms.
• Drive and forecast project purchasing performance and lead productivity initiatives to achieve cost-saving targets.
• Ensure a smooth and documented transition from the project phase to serial production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, project purchasing, or commodity buying.
• Experience within the automotive or a similar manufacturing industry.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, sourcing, and negotiation skills.
