Project Buyer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Lead Buyer for local teams in regional and global development programs
• Negotiate optimal pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Lead sourcing activities for BOM components and manage supplier relationships
• Track and manage program deliverables, including sourcing status, financials, and supplier timing
• Support and drive cost-reduction initiatives in line with purchasing objectives
• Prepare, issue, and analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and issue purchase orders
• Lead or assist in resolving production, design, quality, and delivery issues
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings with program teams and suppliers
• Oversee engineering changes, tool transfers, and benchmarking activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of purchasing or program purchasing experience
• Experience in a manufacturing industry environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
