Project Budget Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage cost allocation and budget control for the project portfolio, identifying and reporting deviations through seasonality analysis and actual vs. planned spending comparisons.
• Validate invoice payments and manage budget keys, ensuring compliance with fiscal and contractual requirements to fund resources and quantify financial impact.
• Prepare and record monthly and annual accounting provisions and asset release letters, reconciling payment commitments to ensure financial closing integrity.
• Analyze accounting classifications and financial variations within the project portfolio to provide visibility to leaders and facilitate accountability.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Economics, Administration, or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite.
• Basic English skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and financial mathematics.
• Experience in financial statement analysis, budget deviations, and project administration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Data Studio, Denario, or current account management tools.
• Background in Treasury, Bonds, or specialized Project Accounting.
