Project Architect/Design/Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Translate program requirements into clear, buildable spatial standards, layouts, and details
• Develop and refine system-level design concepts, diagrams, and playbooks
• Oversee project architects to ensure designs align with standards while adapting to real-world constraints
• Partner with operations, product, and SMEs to align design decisions with operational workflows
• Review layouts and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
• Identify gaps in existing standards and propose improvements based on field feedback
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, and general contractors
• Contribute to building and evolving design systems and internal processes

Requirements

• Licensed and/or NCARB certified
• Master’s degree in Architecture
• 5–8+ years of experience in architectural design and production
• Strong hands-on production experience including developing details and written specifications
• Experience with design standards, prototypes, or repeatable systems
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace
• Ability to translate ambiguous inputs into actionable design direction
• Strong organizational and management skills across multiple disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in R&D, prototyping, or iterative design environments
• Experience with vendor and external partner management
• Exposure to large-scale rollouts or multi-site programs
• Experience creating diagrams, systems graphics, or playbook documentation
• Proficiency with Asana and digital whiteboard tools like Miro or Mural
