Project Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of high-end custom home projects from Schematic Design through construction
• Present original design work to sophisticated clients via Zoom and other professional channels
• Oversee Design Development, detailing, and the selection of materials and specifications
• Manage client expectations regarding budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Perform site visits and undertake construction observation
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate relationships with external consultants

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Architecture (Licensure preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in client and project management
• 10+ years of experience working with construction documents
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality single-family residential design work
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Suite
• Extensive experience with site visits and construction observation

• Proven ability to communicate professionally with educated and sophisticated clientele
• Strong design vocabulary and pride of authorship
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines while multitasking across a project portfolio
