Project Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial processes and support railway construction projects
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage invoicing, receivables, and guarantee management
• Purchase subcontractor services
• Prepare monthly and annual project financial statements
• Oversee project-related controlling and reporting
• Review invoices and project-related contracts
• Handle commercial correspondence with clients, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Obtain necessary permits and certifications

Requirements

• Degree in economics or completed training as an industrial clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau)
• Initial professional experience in the construction industry or a comparable field
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong numerical understanding and grasp of business processes
• Team-oriented, responsible, and independent working style
• High level of organizational talent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting and calculation software
• Knowledge of RIB iTWO
