About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise academic units on curriculum development, modification processes, and program change policies.
- Coordinate annual curriculum planning, approval activities, and the production of the Undergraduate Academic Calendar and Academic Handbook.
- Support academic program and unit reviews, including coordinating external review activities and preparing related documentation.
- Maintain curriculum-related systems and documentation, providing training and guidance on Curriculum Management systems.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, chairs, and senior academic administrators.
- Analyze administrative processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five years of recent post-secondary experience, specifically supporting curriculum development and academic review processes.
- Proven experience working within a quality assurance or regulatory framework.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to develop instructional resources and governance documents.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms, SharePoint, Teams).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex policies and procedures to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Curriculum Management (CM), Curriculum Publisher (CP), Drupal, or ROSI/ACORN.
- General knowledge of University of Toronto academic policies, governance structures, and approval processes.
- Experience leveraging emerging digital tools to improve administrative workflows.
