About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop new continuing dental education (CDE) programs, including course objectives, curriculum, and instructional delivery.
  • Research and recruit guest speakers and program instructors by scouting national and regional dental conferences.
  • Design, plan, and execute continuing education courses, certificate programs, and workshops.
  • Integrate educational technology tools to innovate course design and improve the learner experience.
  • Represent and promote CDE programs at professional meetings and dental conferences to increase visibility.
  • Analyze industry trends and participant feedback to make strategic recommendations for program improvements.
  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, facility use, technology support, and course materials.
  • Monitor program budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial targets are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program development and management.
  • Experience developing educational programs specifically for adult learners.
  • Proficiency with educational technology platforms such as Canvas, SoftChalk, or Nearpod.
  • Strong working knowledge of registration and customer management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience working within a university or health-related institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
