About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and support secure, scalable technology solutions for Core Banking Engineering within an agile team environment.
- Analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign software components.
- Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications while ensuring quality, security, and compliance.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
- Participate in an off-hours pager rotation to support critical systems.
- Collaborate closely with team members in an agile lab environment to deliver on customer expectations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in information technology, specifically developing and supporting applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Unix shell skills within Eclipse-based environments.
- Solid understanding of DevOps for deployment and experience with Git repositories.
- Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud frameworks and implementation.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and SQL Databases.
- Experience with API management and developing microservices.
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or a technical equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mainframe development experience.
- Enterprise architectural knowledge or experience.
- Familiarity with Network, LAN TCP/IP, security, and communication protocol concepts.
