About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, program, and support enterprise data and business systems across the university.
  • Support key platforms including the Ellucian ERP suite, Slate, and other approved third-party applications.
  • Oversee the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of campus data software.
  • Collaborate with university staff to gather requirements, develop code, and troubleshoot programs.
  • Work with vendors to manage installations, firmware updates, and technical issue resolution.
  • Formulate and enforce proper data policies and procedures under the guidance of the director.
  • Provide technical documentation, user operations support, and customer service to university stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in requirements gathering, report development, and documentation within enterprise application systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of database and data warehouse concepts.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or associated certificates related to Information Systems or customer service.
  • Five years of experience working with an ERP platform specifically within a higher education environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL commands to query and extract data.
