About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and manage a team to support project delivery
- Oversee a major portfolio and drive timely delivery in line with monthly targets
- Engage regularly with stakeholders to communicate progress and address risks
- Lead a high-performing internal process team, including dedicated Project Managers
- Establish and promote best practices for process delivery and continuous improvement
- Represent the organisation in stakeholder, regulator, and negotiation discussions
- Collaborate with peers to manage complex technical and commercial issues
- Act as an escalation point for technical guidance and stakeholder coordination
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience in construction, energy, or engineering
- Expertise in the power system industry and utilities/construction
- Experience working within a regulated utility environment
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills
- Accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification
