About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the sKids programme
  • Lead and manage large groups of children in a safe and engaging environment
  • Plan and deliver structured activities including arts, crafts, sports, and music
  • Manage challenging behaviour using positive guidance strategies
  • Build professional relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff
  • Lead, coach, and delegate tasks to Programme Assistants
  • Organise resources and plan activities in advance

Requirements

  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Reliable transport to North Shore sites
  • Proven leadership experience working with children (teaching, coaching, or childcare)
  • Experience managing high-energy group environments and challenging behaviour
  • Experience taking ownership of programmes or operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be over 20 years of age
