About the role
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the sKids programme
- Lead and manage a large group of children, handling various behaviours
- Plan and deliver structured activities including arts, crafts, sports, and trips
- Proactively manage challenging behaviour using positive guidance strategies
- Build professional relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff
- Lead, coach, and delegate to Programme Assistants
- Organise resources and plan activities in advance
Requirements
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Reliable transport to the Peninsula site
- Proven leadership experience working with groups of children
- Experience managing challenging behaviour and high-energy environments
- Experience taking ownership of programmes, teams, or operations
- Strong communication skills
- Must be over 20 years old
