Programme Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, business-critical change projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Communicate progress to senior management, project teams, and external partners to align expectations.
• Lead and resource project teams, ensuring they possess the necessary expertise to meet objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to embed new processes within the organisation.
• Drive strategic requirements and make recommendations for change while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing programmes of medium to large complexity involving cross-functional teams.
• Project management accreditation (e.g., Prince 2, PMI, APM, or Agile).
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to Senior/Exco level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering change using enterprise agile techniques.
• Experience delivering transformational change within Payment systems.
• Experience managing third-party engagement for resources, consultancy, and technology.
