About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide program implementation support to the Social and Human Sciences (SCS) Unit and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS)
- Monitor finance and budgetary aspects of programme activities in compliance with organizational regulations
- Support procurement actions and contract management
- Undertake basic budget and expenditure data analysis and prepare reports on programme execution
- Assist in the preparation of outreach activities, special events, and capacity-building workshops
- Coordinate logistical needs including travel, meeting assessments, and document processing
- Maintain and archive programme documentation, research, and background information
- Provide general office assistance such as translation, printing, and dispatch of information documents
Requirements
- Completed secondary education and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, management, education, social sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in integrated service execution and process support
- Proven experience providing administrative and logistical support within a project team
- Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent written and spoken fluency in both English and Thai
- Ability to work independently and establish effective relationships with internal and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in international development
- Previous experience working within the UN System or other international organizations
- Experience in conducting research
- Knowledge of other official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish)
