About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver and support a variety of activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking, and creative play
- Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment
- Use positive behaviour guidance to support children with different needs
- Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff
- Support the day-to-day running of the programme from set-up through to pack-down
Requirements
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Reliable transport to the sKids Westmere site
- Availability from 2:30pm on weekdays
- Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, or similar
- Positive, energetic, and can-do attitude
- Confidence working with groups of children
- Satisfactory Police Record Check required
