About the role

Responsibilities

Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimising procurement and funding strategies for Net Zero targets
Develop HMT Green Book business cases across all five cases
Contribute to strategic and commercial assessment of business challenges and implement optimal solutions
Engage and influence a wide range of clients and stakeholders to realise business outcomes
Deploy and improve established processes, tools, and systems
Identify and progress business generation opportunities
Travel as required to support client needs

Requirements

Ability to attain UK MoD Security Clearance (British Nationals only)
Experience of government Greenbook business case development
Experience in the Defence and/or public infrastructure sector
Knowledge of HMT Green Book Business Case Economic principles
Understanding of economic benefit assessment, including social value and low carbon transition
Experience with government departmental governance processes for HMT Green Book approvals

Degree or MBA qualification
Experience assuring HMT Greenbook Business Cases
Experience in renewable energy, decarbonization, transport, or water services
Proven capability as an influencer within commercial and procurement environments
Experience in managing multi-stakeholder environments
