Program Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate support to clients at the Windsor Centre of Hope
• Participate in the development and implementation of client case plans
• Monitor medication administration and maintain accurate records via e-MAR or manual sheets
• Assist clients in developing problem-solving, coping, and life-style skills
• Perform crisis intervention and ensure building safety and security through regular checks
• Plan and implement meaningful weekly programs for residents
• Manage clerical tasks including data entry, client statistics, and professional correspondence
• Maintain a clean and sanitized environment for residents

Requirements

• Secondary School Diploma (University degree or college diploma in counseling is an asset)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
• Valid G2 or G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
• First Aid/CPR certificate and WHMIS certificate
• Criminal Records Check with vulnerable sector screening
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client data management systems
• Ability to lift/move 20 lbs and perform physical duties such as bending and stooping
