About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for a federally funded maternal and child health research center.
  • Manage project operations, timelines, and workflows to align with grant objectives and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate research activities, including participant tracking, data collection, data entry, and data management.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of research data.
  • Support compliance with institutional policies and sponsor requirements, including IRB and Uniform Guidance.
  • Organize and support project meetings, trainings, and Community Advisory Board (CAB) activities.
  • Prepare summaries and documentation for internal review, evaluation activities, and external reporting.
  • Coordinate with institutional offices such as OSP, IRB, and Finance to support documentation and compliance.
  • Facilitate consultant activities, including scheduling and tracking of deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, public health, business administration, management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting or managing federally funded research or programmatic projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with project coordination, reporting, and compliance.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a grant-funded environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
