About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Deputy to the Managed Parts Program Operations Senior Manager
  • Lead a global, cross-functional PMO team to develop talent, processes, and tools
  • Drive operational and financial performance across the Managed Parts portfolio
  • Lead strategic initiatives, including process improvements and inventory optimization
  • Manage IT investments, systems implementations, and enhancements for the portfolio
  • Implement lean initiatives and ensure the application of Program Management Best Practices
  • Interface with executive leadership to report on program status and risks

Requirements

  • 1+ year of leadership experience (team leader, formal manager, or large-scale project lead)
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years of experience using project management methodologies (planning, risk, and performance management)
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships with internal and external customers
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior or executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace aftermarket services (parts, managed programs, or distribution)
  • 1+ year of experience implementing Program Management Best Practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working effectively within a globally dispersed team environment
  • Background in program transformation or new program implementation
  • Previous experience in the airline industry
  • Experience with contract negotiation or Change Board management
  • Engineering or technical background
