About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-impact team responsible for program integration, configuration discipline, and planning clarity to scale spacecraft design and manufacturing.
- Define and implement scheduling frameworks to improve reliability and ensure commitments reflect technical and supply chain realities.
- Drive integrated master schedule maturity across all spacecraft and ground programs.
- Balance commercial speed with US Government rigor, ensuring appropriate levels of auditability, traceability, and discipline.
- Integrate technology roadmaps and production ramp plans into executable schedules.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve delivery speed and reduce rework.
- Lead and develop a small team, establishing clear execution standards and accountability.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, space, automotive, or other complex hardware environments.
- Engineering background in systems, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or a similar discipline.
- Deep experience building and managing integrated master schedules in technically complex programs.
- Experience supporting commercial and/or US Government programs.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and lifecycle integration.
- Proven experience leading small, high-performing teams.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and bring clarity to ambiguous, complex challenges.
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status is required due to export regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling hardware production organizations.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership in execution-heavy environments.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ERP, MES, or PLM systems.
- Experience integrating cost account management with program schedules.
- Proficiency in data analytics or Python.
