About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of the LA-CEAL program across consortium partners, including Tulane University and other community organizations.
- Coordinate fieldwork training and oversight for staff and students regarding human subject protocols, sampling, and data collection.
- Oversee participant recruitment, survey data collection, and data entry while maintaining high standards of data quality.
- Monitor program expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget and timely completion of administrative deliverables.
- Support program committees and working groups by managing scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, and communication.
- Create health promotion outreach materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content, to market wellness programming.
- Serve as a primary liaison between investigators, staff, community partners, and consortium members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4 years of directly related work experience.
- Experience working with community partners and diverse populations.
- Knowledge of current trends in chronic disease management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva or similar design software.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Health Promotion, or an affiliated field.
- 1-2 years of prior experience developing wellness initiatives.
- Experience researching or creating health and wellness marketing materials.
