About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and facilitate weekly professional development workshops and programs for doctoral, master's, and postdoctoral trainees.
- Provide career advising, coaching, and mentoring, including feedback on CVs, resumes, and cover letters.
- Collaborate with campus offices and Medical School departments to design and deliver tailored programming and outreach.
- Manage special projects, initiatives, and administrative tasks, including budget monitoring and correspondence.
- Partner with event and communication specialists to coordinate logistics and marketing strategies for programming.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 3 years of equivalent full-time work experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years, OR Associate's degree with 7 years.
- 2+ years of full-time experience in postdoctoral or academic affairs, services, and administration.
- 2+ years of full-time experience in project management or event planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to large groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in facilitation, teaching, or curriculum design.
- 2+ years of experience in postdoctoral advising, coaching, or student engagement.
- Knowledge of academic faculty and research-related career tracks.
