Program Manager, R&D

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) programs for moderately complex projects.
• Support PMO processes and tools to improve business processes and ensure predictable program execution.
• Formulate and implement R&D programs, policies, and procedures to support profitable growth.
• Provide leadership to design and development teams, specifically focusing on the product transfer phase.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and customers, to ensure compliance.
• Guide the development of test plan protocols, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications.
• Manage departmental budgets and contribute to divisional strategy planning.
• Review and provide functional approval for project and quality system documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical device development or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience leading business process improvement and new product development (NPD) initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical or business field.
• PMP certification.
• Prior experience in people management.
• Experience working within a broad enterprise or cross-division business unit model.
