Program Manager, Public Allies

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach upwards of 22 Public Allies, providing professional development through individual and group coaching.
• Build and maintain community partnerships to establish placement goals and expand program impact.
• Develop and execute an annual training plan, including lesson plans and weekly workshops.
• Oversee administrative compliance, including member files, time-logs, and federal grant requirements.
• Collaborate on the Pathways program to create career, education, and entrepreneurship opportunities for graduates.
• Manage performance improvement planning and probationary contracts as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, social service, public administration, or a related field.
• Four years of progressively responsible job-related experience.
• Proven experience in building community partnerships and managing collaborations.
• Strong understanding of adult education and experiential learning principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• A demonstrated passion for leadership development and social justice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Delaware’s public service sector.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
