Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage satellite systems programs to meet both client and company expectations regarding budget, schedule, and technical direction.
• Negotiate program requirements, funding, and resources with clients while maintaining a diplomatic approach to balance company interests.
• Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, performing regular cost assessments and creating contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Provide technical and administrative guidance, direction, and decision-making support to the program team.
• Maintain program visibility through regular technical reviews, design audits, and progress meetings with clients and senior management.
• Collaborate with the supply chain to establish a competent framework of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure procurement requirements are met.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience in program/project management or project engineering within a technical domain.
• Proven experience in negotiation, risk management, contract management, and subcontractor management.
• Strong understanding of financial management and US ITAR regulations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required for client interaction.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II (SECRET) security clearance and pass Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with naval electronics programs.
