About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage program execution across WNS and AFGSC initiatives, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk
- Serve as a Staff Action Officer (SAO) supporting MAJCOM-level coordination, taskings, and executive communications
- Develop, route, track, and close staff packages in accordance with USAF staffing processes
- Provide subject matter expertise in USAF Civil Engineering (CE) processes for facility development and sustainment
- Prepare and process DD Form 1391 and related CE documentation
- Support planning, programming, and execution of military construction (MILCON) and facility sustainment projects
- Coordinate design reviews for facility and simulator-related infrastructure
- Oversee requirements for secure facility construction, including communications, power, and environmental controls
- Support SCIF planning, design, construction, and accreditation processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Program Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience supporting DoD or USAF programs
- Demonstrated experience as a Staff Action Officer (SAO) or supporting MAJCOM-level staffing processes
- Direct experience with USAF Civil Engineering (CE) processes and project planning
- Experience preparing and processing DD Form 1391 documentation
- Knowledge of SCIF planning, design, and accreditation processes (e.g., ICD 705)
- Experience managing program cost, schedule, and performance
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- PMP certification or DAWIA Program Management certification
- Experience supporting AFGSC or AFLCMC organizations
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience working directly with base Civil Engineer organizations and Intelligence Community stakeholders
