Program Manager II

Responsibilities

• Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for all new and existing projects in Jordan throughout the project cycle.
• Oversee the identification, assessment, and strengthening of partnerships, including providing accompaniment to Caritas Jordan.
• Cultivate effective donor relationships to enable lead generation and identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Serve as the technical lead and writer for high-quality proposals to ensure growth of the Jordan portfolio.
• Lead program learning by identifying opportunities for research, publications, and the implementation of MEAL policy.
• Oversee technical assistance and capacity strengthening activities to enhance program quality and impact.
• Ensure timely and appropriate project expenditures in line with financial plans and stewardship of resources.
• Champion safeguarding and support the quality implementation of CRS safeguarding policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of field-based project management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in relief or recovery programming.
• Experience managing moderately complex projects and building strong relationships with partners and donors.
• Proficiency in MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and information management systems.
• Fluency in written and oral English; Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%, including within Jordan and to JWBG.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working within an international NGO.
• Experience working in complex humanitarian settings.
• Experience with U.S. Government funding and grant management.
