About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, reporting, and oversight of OpEx and CapEx budgets, including forecasting and long-range outlooks.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of budget versus actual results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and manage financial KPIs to deliver actionable insights to senior and executive leadership.
- Act as a financial partner to Asset & Energy Management (AEM) leadership to support strategic and investment decisions.
- Manage the end-to-end RFP bid process through iBuy (Ariba), coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial models, reporting processes, and performance management practices.
- Analyze contract terms and scopes of work to mitigate risk and improve procurement outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the energy industry.
- Proven experience with renewable energy operations and processes.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory, and work orders.
- Ability to communicate effectively and articulate financial data to senior leaders (Vice Presidents, Directors, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in project tracking and management.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills.
