Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead technical customer projects for high-performance elastomer sealing solutions from order intake through to series production readiness.
• Manage project activities, including technical trials, milestones, resources, and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Act as the primary technical interface and trusted partner for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and sales to ensure operational readiness.
• Apply APQP, FMEA, and validation methodologies to identify risks and ensure robust manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and optimizing project performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Polymer, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the automotive supplier or rubber manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes (molding, post-molding, and validation) and product realization.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex technical projects in parallel with strong execution discipline.
• Fluent English (C1) is required; German (B2) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for interacting with international customers and cross-functional teams.
