Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional Navy Nuclear Propulsion product line team, including engineers, planners, and production control.
• Maintain full P&L accountability for the business unit's largest program, managing approximately 60% of the annual P&L.
• Report key financial metrics to senior management, including operational income, sales, cash flow, and working capital.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and contingency plans to ensure all project commitments are met.
• Support sales activities by managing RFQs, ITBs, and proposal generation, including Bid/No Bid activities.
• Act as the primary customer interface for audits, surveillance inspections, and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with sourcing and suppliers to secure materials for program execution and future production.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks by developing and deploying contingency plans.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Program Management.
• Familiarity with technical and engineering specifications and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience managing detailed program budgets and strong financial acumen.
• Proficiency with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Risk Management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for high-complexity product lines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Prior experience overseeing Navy programs.
• Experience with ORACLE ERP or mainframe applications.
• Prior engineering or operations experience.
