Program Manager, Community Engagement

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Campus Volunteer Coordinator program, including the supervision of student leaders.
• Oversee the Community Service Work Study Program by onboarding community partners and managing the recruitment and orientation of student employees.
• Manage site partnerships with non-profit organizations, local schools, and other community entities.
• Provide supervision, training, and professional development for student employees and leaders.
• Serve as the administrator for engagement platforms such as GivePulse and Engage.
• Plan and implement monthly volunteer opportunities and support campus-wide service events.
• Integrate Catholic Social Teaching, anti-oppression, and anti-racist frameworks into programming.
• Support marketing, outreach, and digital platform maintenance to increase program visibility.
• Assist with data collection, assessment, and financial reporting to meet strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of professional experience in social justice, community engagement, volunteer coordination, event planning, or non-profit management.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to inclusive excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships.
• Demonstrated competency working with diverse populations in a culturally competent manner.
• Knowledge of Federal Work Study or Community Service Work Study programs.
• Experience supervising student interns or volunteers.
• Proficiency with data management software.
