Program Manager (Chip Development)

Responsibilities

• Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, and budgets
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards
• Serve as the primary technical and program interface to key customers
• Lead and motivate diverse technical teams through the chip development lifecycle
• Track program progress against milestones and manage risks and dependencies
• Collaborate with technical leads to resolve complex engineering challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• 3-5 years in a dedicated program or project management role for chip development
• Proven track record leading complex ASIC/SoC development programs
• Strong understanding of ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ASPICE
• Experience with ASIL and TARA processes
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or equivalent certification
• Experience with various silicon technologies (CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, AI accelerators)
• Familiarity with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA)
• Knowledge of verification methodologies like UVM
