Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all phases of multiple customer-focused DoD programs from inception through completion
• Establish executable plans and risk mitigations to achieve annual business goals regarding revenue, profit, and cash
• Define program objectives and strategies consistent with customer and contractual requirements
• Develop and implement effective customer communication plans to build relationships and manage satisfaction
• Control the timely start and completion of program tasks to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met
• Coordinate program activities with multifunctional teams and support functions
• Implement proactive risk management and issue resolution processes
• Conduct regular reviews of program performance against approved plans

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
• U.S. person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected asylum/refugee status)
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5+ years of Program Management experience within the defense industry
• Strong financial acumen related to proposal pricing, contract negotiations, and cost estimates

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in Defense Program Management
• Experience managing RF/Microwave programs within the DoD industry
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships
• Multi-discipline experience in Operations Management, Business Development, or Engineering
• Experience managing new component or small product/system development programs
• PMI Certification
• Active DoD SECRET clearance
