Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams within the AAD Sustaining Portfolio to deliver medical device projects on time.
• Apply project management principles including work breakdown structures, risk management, and integrated business plans.
• Drive predictable and transparent execution of projects through agile problem-solving and master negotiation.
• Influence solutions to resolve business and technical problems across all levels of the organization.
• Implement strategic and technical direction for project teams while managing functional work streams in a phase gate process.
• Identify risks and implement action plans to optimize timelines and reduce execution risk.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product development and design.
• 2-4 years of experience specifically in medical device product development (Class II).
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing remediation and/or sustaining projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline or an MBA.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with the development of advanced access devices.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA submissions.
